A Busy Sunday Afternoon on Sunny Newport Harbor

I ended up at King park on the south end of the harbor after a long hike. It was nice to sit on a shady bench and watch the busy Summer crowd on the water - lots of boats, and lots of people (and dogs) playing in the water - including the rather large cruise ship Caribbean Princess docked just outside. I decided to just post the photos; you don't really need captions for this. Enjoy!

  1. Wow! They're all good, but love that last one of the dog and the stick. Glad the weather's brightened up for you, but when it's hot, the best place to be is by the water.

  4. Wow that's one enormous ship, looks out of place among the flotilla of boats and funsters. Awesome shots Roy, really lovely. No cruises for me. I cruised out to Australia as a tween . . took six weeks!

  5. Oh Roy. In about ten months time that will be me (but it will be the Arcadia and not the Carry Princess). Heres hoping for similar weather.
